This event aims to support the development and international expansion of the welfare rehabilitation, anti-aging, and beauty industries by simultaneously holding three related exhibitions. A total of 150 companies will participate, operating over 400 booths across the welfare rehabilitation, anti-aging, and cosmetics/beauty sectors.

Notably, this year’s event will feature new side events such as the KOTRA Export Consultation, Healthcare Distribution Consultation, Makeup Show, Beauty Contest, and Special Lectures by Medical Experts.

Hosted by Busan City and organized by BEXCO, Busan Ilbo, and Busan Techno Park, with sponsorship from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, the event centers around three exhibitions: the 16th International Welfare and Rehabilitation Senior Exhibition, the 11th Busan International Anti-Aging Expo, and the 2024 Busan Cosmetics and Beauty Festival.

Similar to last year, 150 companies will participate in this year’s exhibition, showcasing over 400 booths on diverse themes. The welfare rehabilitation sector will feature 40 institutions, including Dr. Q Medics, the anti-aging sector will have 52 institutions, including Miga Trading, and the cosmetics/beauty sector will feature 35 institutions, including JK INC.

Specifically, the welfare rehabilitation sector will highlight Dr. Q Medics’ Ankle Pump Automatic Exercise Device (iRobot Foot) and General Net’s Incontinence Treatment Device (Body Doctor). The anti-aging sector will showcase Miga Trading’s ‘Needle-Free Syringe,’ a first in Korea, and Asan S&Tech’s functional insoles using high thermal conductivity graphite. The cosmetics/beauty sector will feature JK INC’s custom cosmetic automatic dispenser (Skin MBTI) and HESOL’s hair dye (Nature Muldri), among others.

The KOTRA Export Consultation will allow foreign buyers to visit booths directly through the 'Walk In' approach and utilize the 'Buyer Lounge.' Additionally, the Healthcare Distribution Consultation, organized by the Korea Medical Device Distribution Association, will provide participating companies the opportunity to meet with distribution specialists from 15 association member companies at the 'Distribution Consultation Hall.'

The Makeup Show and Beauty Contest, organized by the Korea Makeup Beauty Association, will have experts in makeup, hair, and nail art demonstrate techniques and provide tips to attendees. The Special Lectures by Medical Experts will feature top healthcare professionals addressing health-related questions from the audience.

The opening ceremony will take place at 2 PM on the first day, May 16, at BEXCO, featuring an awards ceremony for contributions to the geriatric bio-industry and cosmetics/beauty industry, along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Dongseok Park, Director of the Advanced Industry Bureau, stated, “Welfare rehabilitation, anti-aging, and beauty industries are areas where Busan can achieve global competitiveness. Through this 7th Global Healthcare Week, we hope participating companies will see substantial sales increases, further invigorating the local economy. We will continue to strive to promote and develop market opportunities for the excellent products of local companies.”

부산시, '2024 글로벌 헬스케어 위크' 개최
부산시가 오는 16일부터 18일까지 벡스코 제1전시장에서 '2024 글로벌 헬스케어 위크'를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사에서는 복지재활, 항노화, 뷰티산업의 발전과 해외시장 개척을 지원하기 위해 관련 3개의 전시회를 동시에 개최한다.
복지·재활, 항노화, 화장품·뷰티 분야에서 총 150개사가 참여해 400여개의 부스를 운영한다.

특히 올해는 △대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 수출상담회 △헬스케어 유통상담회 △메이크업쇼 △미용경진대회 △명의 특강 등 새로운 형태의 부대행사가 진행될 예정이다.

부산시가 주최하고 벡스코, 부산일보, 부산테크노파크가 주관하며 보건복지부, 중소벤처기업부, 산업통상자원부, 한국보건산업진흥원이 후원하는 이번 행사는 3개의 전시회인, 제16회 국제복지재활시니어전시회, 제11회 부산국제항노화엑스포, 2024 부산화장품뷰티페스티벌을 중심으로 이루어진다

이번 전시회에는 작년과 비슷한 150개사가 참여하며, 다채로운 주제로 총 400여개의 부스가 운영될 예정이다.
복지·재활 분야에서는 닥터큐메딕스 등 40개 기관, 항노화 분야에는 미가교역 등 52개 기관, 화장품·뷰티 분야에서는 제이케이아이앤씨 등 35개 기관이 참여한다.

특히, 복지·재활 분야에서는 닥터큐메딕스의 발목펌프자동운동기기 아이로봇풋, 제너럴네트의 요실금치료기 바디닥터 등이, 항노화 분야에서는 미가교역의 국내 최초 ‘바늘 없는 주사기’, 아산에스앤테크의 고열전도성 소재인 그라파이트를 적용한 기능성 인솔 등이 눈에 띈다.
화장품·뷰티 분야에서는 제이케이아이앤씨의 맞춤형 화장품 자동조제기 ‘스킨엠비티아이(MBTI)’와 헤솔의 염모제 ‘자연에믈드리다’가 주목받고 있다.

이번 행사에서는 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 수출상담회가 열리며, 해외 바이어들이 부스를 직접 방문하는 ‘워크 인(WALK IN)’ 방식과 ‘바이어라운지’를 활용한 방식으로 진행된다.
또한, 헬스케어 유통상담회는 한국의료기기유통협회 주관으로 전시장 내 ‘유통상담회장’에서 진행된다.
참여기업들은 협회 소속 15개사의 유통전문 바이어들과 상담할 수 있다.

메이크업쇼와 미용경진대회는 한국메이크업미용사회 주관으로 진행되며, 메이크업, 헤어, 네일아트 분야의 전문가들이 관람객들을 대상으로 메이크업을 시연하고 사용법을 알려준다.
명의 특강에서는 분야별 최고 의료진이 강연을 통해 건강에 대한 관람객들의 궁금증을 해소해 줄 예정이다.

개막식은 행사 첫날인 16일 오후 2시에 벡스코에서 열리며, 고령친화바이오산업 및 화장품뷰티산업 발전 유공자 시상식과 테이프 커팅식 등으로 시작된다.

박동석 시 첨단산업국장은 “복지 재활과 항노화, 뷰티산업은 부산이 글로벌 경쟁력을 가질 수 있는 분야”라며, “올해로 7회째를 맞는 '글로벌 헬스케어 위크'를 통해 참여기업이 실질적인 매출 증대를 이루어 지역경제가 한층 더 활성화되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
또한, “우리시는 앞으로도 지역 기업들의 우수 제품 홍보와 판로 개척을 위해 다방면으로 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
