Choosing the right size poles for you:
A simple formula to help you find the perfect size pole. First, take your height in inches and multiply by 2.54 (height in inches x 2.54 = height in centimetes). Second, multiply your hight in centimeters by 0.685 (height in centimeters x 0.685 = Estimated pole lenght)
Example: I am a 5'4" male or 64 inches tall. 64 in. x 2.54 = 162.56 cm. Then 162.56 cm x 0.685 = 111.35 pole size. Since this pole size is between 110 cm and 115 cm I need to choose to go up or down. Because I have short legs and a longer torso, I will go with 110 cm poles. If I had longer legs and a shorter torso, I would have gone with 115 cm poles.
